Huanghua City Museum and Hebei Sea Salt Museum, located on the right side of the large garden square of People's Park in the downtown area of Huanghua City, is a featured museum of the county level. It is also one of the 21 provincial popular science bases of Hebei Province designated in 2010. It is the first museum about salt industry in Hebei Province as well as the one owning the richest documents about China’s salt industry at present.

位于黄骅市区人民公园大型园林广场右侧的黄骅市博物馆和河北海盐博物馆，是县级特色博物馆。也是2010年被认定的21家河北省省级科普基地单位之一，是河北省内首家盐业博物馆，也是目前国内盐业博物馆中资料最为丰富的博物馆。

The coastal area of Huanghua City is where the headquarters of one of China’s most ancient salt fields, Changlu Salt Field, was located. In Archives Bureau of Hebei Province, there are tremendous amount of archives about Changlu Salt Field. Professor Qin Jincai from Hebei Normal University and his research team completed the collection of archives about Changlu Salt Field and published a monumental work named Archives about Changlu Salt Field. Indeed, there should be a museum about Changlu Salt Field in Huanghua City.

黄骅市沿海是中国最古老的盐场之一长芦盐场的总部所在，河北省档案局收藏着浩如烟海的长芦盐场的档案。河北师范大学历史学院秦进才教授带领的团队，完成了长芦盐场档案整理，出版了一部煌煌巨著《长芦盐场档案资料》。所以，黄骅市确实应该有一座长芦盐场博物馆。

The major archives on display there are data about the salt industry throughout China. Multiple high-tech means are applied to present a vivid picture of China’s salt industry which can be traced back to over 4,000 years ago and an overview of the life and culture of people engaged in the industry. There are four parts in the exhibition, the Prelude, the Salt Origin of China, Modern Salt Industry, and the Magical Salt. Different kinds of salt including sea salt, lake salt and well and rock salt, etc. are on display.

该馆以全国各地的盐业资料为基本展示内容，以多种高科技的技术手段为支撑，生动地再现了我国自4000多年前就开始的盐业生产和盐民生活的多层文化全貌。展览分为序厅、华夏盐踪、当代盐业、神奇的盐四个部分，展示了海盐、湖盐、井矿盐等盐种。
